Christopher G. Burns
Chris Burns is the Executive Vice- President/General Manager with Brown & Brown Flagship
Chris is a graduate of Old Dominion University, and a member of Leadership Hampton Roads. He serves on the United Way funding panel, Fireman’s Fund Agency Executive Advisory Panel, the Schooner Virginia Board of Directors, Great American Insurance Company Agents Advisory Committee, and Signal Agents Committee. He is also an active member of the Community Associations Institute. He is a licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Agent in Virginia and 20 other states.
While his main focus is commercial marine insurance, Chris has a varied client base in construction and habitational Risks. A key strategic planner with Brown & Brown Flagship, Chris has worked with the Marketing Department to develop a property program that has helped many large and medium Condominium Associations in the region become more competitive. A Merchant Marine Captain, avid blue water sailor and community leader, Chris brings a substantial amount of opportunity and community knowledge to Brown & Brown Flagship and the clients he serves.
Chris resides in Virginia Beach with his wife Meyon and their two sons.
