Ken Yavoich
Ken is a producer with Brown & Brown Flagship that concentrates on various types of constracting risks including commercial, marine and government contracting. Ken began his insurance career as an underwriter in the Construction Department of Travelers. He has experience underwriting multiple types of commercial contractors including general, industrial, electrical, street and road, excavation, and HVAC. Ken specializes in Workers Compensation; combining his knowledge with a proactive approach to reduce claims, experience modifications and premiums for his clients. Ken is a member of the Associated General Contractors of VA, Hampton Roads Utility and Heavy Contractors Association, Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce and the Virginia Ship Repair Association.
Ken received a B. S. in Finance with a concentration in Insurance from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. He currently lives in Virginia Beach with his wife, Genie, and three sons, Kenny, CJ and Mason.
