David T. Husbands
David T. Husbands is the Claims Manager for Flagship marine Adjusters, Inc., a subsidiary of The Brown & Brown Flagship, located in Norfolk, Virginia. In that capacity, he adjusts a variety of marine claims incidents - from the minor to the catastrophic - handling all aspects of the claims process from the initial investigation through settlement, and including extensive litigation management.
Prior to his insurance claims-adjusting experience, David spent thirty years in marine related activities in both the U. S. Navy and the U. S. Army. He held a wide range of shipboard engineering positions on a variety of harbor and ocean-going vessels, ranging from oiler to chief engineer; he also served as chief instructor of a marine engineering school providing technical courses to both U. S. and foreign students.
David received a BA from St. Leo College in human resource administration. He and his wife Linda reside in Norfolk, Virginia.
